I wonder what they would sound like if they were suspended close together, and then left in the breeze?
Probably a bit tinny (that last word looks kind of odd doesn’t it?). I looked these things up on a popular search engine (not naming names) and was rather surprised to find that the first chunk of references was to how to turn these into lock picks – diagrams, instructions and all. Funny, not my first thought upon finding them in the street.
I love their texture. If I had a collection, I would have fun designing a use, but it would not be a lock pick and most likely not any type of tool at all. But I suppose if you are locked out, and you live in the city, finding one might come in handy.
I bet Steve as quite a collection of these.
As many as I’ve found (I’m still picking up the next 6mos worth) I keep thinking a couple wheels and a bit of angle iron and I could build my own sweeper.
