B U Y - A - P I E C E - O F - A U T H E N T I C D I R T Y - B O M B - C A R D B O A R D a lovely keepsake of the world premiere and a way to help us (somewhat) defray the cost of the play's production _

The DIRTY BOMB set was built out of various cardboards and recycled material, cut and glued together, and then painted (with black acrylic and a white, water-based primer). Pieces ranged in size up to 11' or 12' high by 8' wide. At the end of the show's run, given that the set pieces were rather large and made specifically to work within a particular space (that had 14' high ceilings), the majority of the large pieces were cut up into pieces that would fit into the back of a Subaru Forester (with the seats folded down). Several of these pieces were further cut-up with an eye to the nice little elements contained within the larger whole. That's what's shown below. Each piece has an additional element added in the form of a small piece of white cardboard that is stamped with a custom-made Dirty Bomb stamp, dated, certified authentic and signed by the stamp-maker/gluer/artist/set designer. Several have a lovely little piece of orange cord attached to the back for hanging, part of the very same cord that hung the larger pieces within the performance space. Wow.
